We finally decided on trying the famous Bean Boozled Challenge and I think it turn out pretty well. Okay, medyo nagkagulo kami ng very light pero ang importante masaya kami sa ginawa namin. HAHAHA! Anyway, we bought our box of Bean Boozled at Candy Corner (Robinsons Magnolia Branch) and ang price nong binili namin was Php 150.00 tapos meron na siyang 8 flavors.

Hindi naman kami sawi kasi super satisfied naman kami sa lasa and prices nong mga food. Actually karamihan sa food choices nila is good for sharing na kaya sure ako kapag nagpunta kayo ng friend or family mo matinding bonding ang mangyayari. Most of our orders are from Cold Spot Cafe's rice variant kasi dinner time naman na nong nagpunta kami.

Salisbury Steak - Php 195.00

There's this food challenge going around YouTube called "Fire Noodle Challenge" where challengers will eat a Korean brand of spicy noodles which I believe goes by the brand name Samyang. According to my research, there are actually two (2) variants of the said noodles; (1) chicken, and (2) cheese which of course are both extremely spicy. Also, it is a spaghetti style noodles.

Maire (sister) and I tried the chicken flavor one which was given to us by Allene (sister), thank you so much. She bought a whole pack at Divisoria amounting to Php 300, I believe. Since Maire and I are both hungry, we decided to take the challenge and experience the spiciness of the noodles ourselves. We really can't understand the instructions provided at the back of the noodle packet thus we cooked it the way we cook Pancit Canton. Anyway, aside from Divisoria, you can also avail this noodles in any Korean store that you know.

I'm into anything spicy but can you believe that I surrendered eating because it was extremely spicy to think that we didn't actually pour all the sauce. Yes it does taste good but it will really leave a burning feeling in your tongue. I actually have no idea how other people are able to finish eating this noodles, HAHAHA.

Just in case you want to take the challenge better prepare your milk drink to lessen the burning feeling on your tongue. Yes, that's a little tip for you that I forgot to do, HAHAHA!

Last Sunday, 23rd of October 2016, we went up to Tagaytay para maki-fiesta kila Philip (Maire's boyfriend) actually it was an advanced celebration for us kasi natapat ng Monday yung fiesta nila ngayong taon. Yes, invited kami every year to celebrate with them and for the past years we always celebrate after fiesta meaning parating kinabukasan na kami nakakapunta pero this year before fiesta kami pumunta kasi meron mga pasok the following day.


Naglaro yung mga bata dun sa dumadaan na bunot game and nanalo naman kahit papaano, hahaha. More of, balik taya lang ang nangyari pero ang importante naka-experience sila nun. Then, nag-decide kami pumunta sa Mushroom Burger kasi matagal na namin gusto matikman yung burger and mushroom fries. Curious kasi kami kung anong lasa, hahaha.

Masarap din naman yung mushroom burger. I mean, lasang beef burger din naman and fresh siya kasi sila mismo nag-plant and harvest nong mga mushrooms. As for the mushroom fries, masarap pero mamantika siya. Overall, worth it yung price ng pagkain kasi nakakabusog naman and masarap.

Yung mga kids, super enjoy kasi after kumain naglaro sila sa playground which is located din sa loob ng Mushroom Burger. Malaki yung lugar hindi siya yung typical na restaurant lang talaga.




After namin sa Mushroom Burger, sumaglit kami sa Robinson's kasi bibili kami nong baked chicharon na super sarap wala nga lang ako picture and hindi ko naisama sa vlog, hahaha. Pagtapos makabili ng chicharon umuwi na kami sa bahay nila Philip para makapahinga. Since maaga pa naman syempre naka-idlip pa kami kasi ang lamig sa Tagaytay, hahaha.

During lunch time, sinabihan pa kami na konti putahe pa lang ang tapos na lutuin kasi that same day na nandun kami nagstart na sila magkatay at magluto ng ihahanda for the next day which is yung mismong fiesta. Still, we had Lumpia, Rellenong Bangus, Buto-Buto, Menudo, Dinuguan, Macapuno with Sago, Ube Halaya, Macaroni Salad and another kind of salad na hindi ko alam ang tawag pero masarap, hahaha.







After kumain ng lunch, pumunta kami sa kabilang bahay para tumambay sa kubo and mamitas ng lanzones and suha. Ang saya lang kasi meron silang mga tanim sa mismong bakuran nila kaya either aakyatin or susungkitin na lang yung mga bunga. By the way, yung food pala na inihain sa amin are for lunch and merienda na namin. Bago kami pauwiin pinakain muna nila kami kasi for sure grabe yung traffic na kakalabanin namin.

Anyway, bago kami tuluyan sumabak sa traffic ng Manila. Dumaan muna kami sa Mahogany Market para bumili ng fresh beef at syempre sa Almira's para sa pasalubong. Guess what, mga 6:00 in the afternoon kami magstart ng byahe tapos nakauwi kami halos 10 na ng gabi. Kaloka yung traffic lalo na sa area ng Cavite. Hindi kasi kami nag-expressway kasi nga matraffic din papasok sa expressway e.

My grandmother from my father's side just celebrated her 88th birthday last Tuesday, 31 May 2016. It wasn't a grand celebration but we sure did our very best to make our mommy lola happy on her very special day.

Before I continue, I just want to say that this particular post will be photo heavy because I'll be sharing just a few photos from the total of 62 photos that I uploaded on my personal Facebook page.

The kids and I went to our lola's house as early as we can so that the kids will have an ample time to play with their cousins and of course for me to extend my help on whatever preparation that there might be. After eating our lunch, my sisters (Jonnah and Chesca) and I planned on having the kids siesta together with our lola for us to start on the decorations.



The whole place was filled with party favors such as balloons and banderitas from A & L Party Avenue which made it look more lively and merry. We finished decorating just in time before my lola's prayer meeting started. Yes, everyone from their Tuesday prayer meeting group was amazed on how the place looks.






The sharing as well as the charismatic songs really filled my soul and made me realized a lot of things.

Anyway, after the prayer meeting comes the starts of the party which by the way filled my tummy, hahahaha!











The most important part of our grandma's birthday was that everyone was able to gather together which made our lola the happiest. Imagine a mini family reunion where everyone's just being their weird and crazy self plus all the catching ups of course.





As long as our mommy lola is happy then we are also happy.
