Banapple, SM North Edsa Sky Garden

I've been craving for Banapple's Lasagna Roll-ups thus hubby decided to have our dinner and satisfy my cravings. For those who are not yet informed, Banapple is now serving at SM North Edsa Sky Garden just beside the ramen house restaurant name Taisho.

Since we dined on a weekdays, hubby and I already expected that we will not be seated in an instant. Good thing we are number 3 on the wait list which is not that bad.

Anyway, hubby ordered Crisp Pork Scallopini with Sour Cream Barbecue Sauce while I opt for Lasagna Roll-Ups. We also had a slice of their famous Banoffee Pie.

Crisp Pork Scallopini with Sour Cream Barbecue Sauce (Php 195)

It consist of crusted pork cutlets fried till golden, and smothered with a savory sour cream and barbecue sauce, served with corn relish.

I can't resist to know how it taste so I asked hubby if I can have a bite of his food. The pork is really tender that it felt like melting in your mouth and the sour cream and barbecue sauce is such a brilliant match. I never thought that sour cream and barbecue sauce will compliment each other. As for the corn relish, well it was okay.

Lasagna Roll-Ups (Php 195)

Herbed cream and Parmesan cheeses fill al dente lasagna wide strips, are rolled up, and smothered with their classic tomato meat sauce and mozzarella cheese.

My reaction when I first saw the lasagna was, "that's everything?!" Hahaha! Yes, I was actually looking for more without knowing that a piece would already made my stomach full. Anyway, I'm not sure if the breads included are cheesy pesto wheat bread but it does taste like one for me. Hahaha! Better correct me if I am wrong although I really do love it a lot. The lasagnas are really cooked al dente and I prefer it that way. The sauce is really good and when I say good it didn't taste like the ordinary lasagna sauce that we all grew up.

Banoffee Pie (Php 105)

Based on my taste bud, Banoffee Pie is consist of Grahams, Banana, and Whipped Cream. To be totally honest, I was only able to have like 3 or 4 small bites because I got tired of how it tasted. I love whipped cream but I guess too much is not good after all and also the bananas are cut into big portions that you will really be able to taste the bananas and eventually be fed up.

Home Made Iced Tea (Php 65)

Hubby and I decided to taste their home made iced tea and it was so delicious that I wish they will have an option to make it into an unlimited one. Yes, hubby and I are such a big fan of iced tea. Hahaha!

Overall, I totally love the whole dining experience except I think there service is a little slow than the usual. As for the food, it may be a little costly but the money that you are going to pay is all worth it. Also, hubby and I will surely comeback for more.

And another hubby and wifey photo to end this food entry, hihi.

  1. For some reason, I never thought to try the food at Banapple. It's probably because I'm not a fan of banoffee pie, and that's usually what people say is good there. Those lasagna roll ups look good!

  5. The foods look delicious and the prices are great! I think they'd have to improve the service, though. As you've said it's slow so it's probably frustrating for hungry customers. Thanks for sharing! :)

    1. You are most welcome :) Yea, in terms of service I really think they should do something to improve it or maybe their area is a little small that made them impossible to serve everyone in an instant.
