I'm not a big fan of marriage and the idea of getting married. Yes, while others are busy planning on their dream wedding, I was busy living my life. I'm not against marriage as a matter of fact I always cry whenever I attend one its because I came from a broken family making me a non-fairy tale believer. Oh, don't pity me because I didn't took it the hard way instead I make use of the situation as guidance in becoming a better person.
I'm guessing that a lot of you are now confused because I stated that I'm not into marriage and all those stuff but as per the blog title: "4th Wedding Anniversary." Fortunately, boyfriend proposed and made a promise that eventually swept me off my feet and made me say yes. It was a simple civil marriage at Quezon City hall dated April 5, 2010 and only a few family member was able to witness it. Anyway, I wasn't really expecting that we'll be celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary because we all know that in life there are circumstances that will test you as a person and as a couple. I'm glad that we made it through making our anniversary celebration a memorable one.
Enough of our love history and let's go on with the celebration, shall we.
I was actually the one who made the dinner reservation at The Purple Owl a month before our anniversary. The management actually stated on their Facebook page to make reservations 3 to 4 days prior to the event but I decided to reserve a month before the event just for convenience.
Since we are residing in Quezon City and our dinner will be on Tagaytay, hubby and I decided to leave Quezon City at around 10 in the morning of April 5, 2014 in order for us to also find a place to stay before heading to dinner.
Before I continue, I just want to apologized for the quality of the photos because our phone camera wasn't able to capture how wonderful the place is.
