Welcome To The Christian World, Baby Basty!
September 17, 2012
After almost 8 months, we were able to finally gave Baby Basty the Sacrament of Baptism last September 8, 2012. Unlike Baby Sophia's baptism, we opt to have a simple one since Baby Sophia and Baby Basty's birthday will be on December.
Just like with Baby Sophia, I also made Baby Basty's baptism invitation.
The baptism ceremony was held at St. Paul The Apostles Parish Church while the reception was held at Atwamanukan Grill and Restaurant.
Anyway, will just share some photos and hope the photo tells how happy we are that Baby Basty is already baptized.

ReplyDeleteWelcome to Christianity Basty, may you worship, glorify and praise God all the days of you life!
ReplyDeleteThis special day in Baby Basty's life is so significant that he's now officially baptized. The celebration was simple yet very personal.
ReplyDeleteThe Christening of every baby is a dedication of an angel to our GOD...May our Almighty Yahweh bless Basty with all the love and care from everyone around him.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your son and your family. In Filipino tradition, christenings are important because there is a belief that a christened child is protected from evil things like negative spirits, accidents and the like.
ReplyDeleteI am not Catholic but I am a godmother to two of my bff kids. I don't know how is that possible but they said if I don't accept the role they will hate me forever. So I guess I did not have much of a choice there. :)
